Joe Cheng’s vision of FOCUS HANGZHOU focuses on creating a natural view along the shoreline. The open plan breaks down barriers, removing the separation between the foyer, living room and study and blending together both aesthetic appeal and formality to create an expansive and unified space. The window affords a glimpse of the river’s turbulent waters, providing an air of tranquility to the environment.
In Oriental aesthetics, the empty space embodies the idea of bringing something to life from nothingness. The physical and digital worlds blend seamlessly, resulting in captivating scenery. This area acts as a platform where individuals are akin to dancers, producing fluidity and cadence.
